The Fearless FitMom Formula is focused on helping postpartum moms rebuild and restrengthen without over-stressing their body.


After giving birth, it’s important to be patient with your body as it heals and as you adjust to the new demands of caring for a newborn. Many women resume standard exercise programs just weeks after giving birth so they can "lose the extra baby weight" as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, many of these women injure themselves because they didn’t account for all the stress and changes their body was going through. Your doctor will clear you for exercise 6-8 weeks postpartum, but your body will need more time to heal. It’s important to pace yourself and listen to your body as you resume movement. There is still a lot of healing happening, so it's important you don't do too much too quickly. You also need to make sure you're eating enough to support everything your body is doing.

It's hard figuring this all out on your own!

 

But you don't have to face this journey alone. As your coach, my goal is to ensure you resume exercise with the appropriate progression as you navigate the unique timing of your postpartum recovery. Your workouts and nutrition need to support your body, not work against it.

My goal is to help you safely return to feeling strong and at home in your body again.

Exercising will expend calories and utilize stored fat, but it is also very important to be sure you are eating healthy, wholesome foods to prevent unhealthy, excessive caloric consumption.
